Metronodes
Counters wired with rules — for iPhone.
Get Metronodes on the App StoreMetronodes turns counting into a machine you can build. Counters are nodes on a canvas, rules are the wires between them, and everything you make is built from those two pieces.
Getting help

It helps to include your iOS version and, if something looks wrong on screen, a screenshot. If a specific project misbehaves, you can export it from the ··· menu and attach the file.
Getting started
- A new install opens to an empty canvas. Tap Load an example to see a working project — the digital clock is the shortest way to understand the idea.
- Add a counter, then drag from one counter's output pin to another's input pin to create a rule. Blue pins send, orange pins receive.
- Select a rule to edit its condition and action — things like “when this loops, add one to that.”
- Press Run to start the clock. Play mode hides the editing chrome.
Your projects
Everything is stored on your device. There is no account and no sync, so deleting the app deletes your projects. Use Export in the ··· menu to save a project as a file first — you can import it again later, or send it to someone else.
Sound
Metronodes plays audio even when the silent switch is on, because it works as an instrument rather than an app that makes notification noises. It mixes with whatever else you are playing rather than interrupting it.
